FEB 2024 / Black History Month IAC Exhibition in Suffolk County Courts Featured on News 12

The opening reception of the "In Living Color" Black History Month Exhibition at Suffolk County Courts in Central Islip, NY, was featured on News 12 on Feb 1, 2024.

Thanks to the charitable donation from the Islip Arts Council, pieces of African American inspired art is on display throughout the second floor mezzanine of the Cohalan Courthouse. An unveiling ceremony was held in the Central Jury Room on Feb 1. Some of the exhibiting artists were also on hand to share insights about their work.
